We ask families and clients to provide accurate information and maintain a safe, respectful environment for companions.

What these terms are here to achieve

These terms establish the nature of Priyappettavar's services, the role and boundaries of companions, booking requirements, client responsibilities, safety expectations, cancellations, privacy and other important conditions relating to our packages.

SERVICE NATURE

Nature of Our Services

Priyappettavar provides non-medical companionship and lifestyle support services designed to enhance emotional well-being, social engagement, and day-to-day convenience.

An important distinction

Our companions are not doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, or licensed medical professionals, unless specifically stated under a separate service agreement.

Booking Confirmation

Bookings are confirmed only after all applicable requirements have been completed.

Availability confirmation
Completion of registration

Receipt of payment, where applicable

Companion Matching

Priyappettavar carefully matches companions based on the individual's requirements and available resources.

Continuity

While we strive for continuity, the same companion cannot always be guaranteed.

Service Duration

Each package includes the duration mentioned in the package description. Additional time beyond the package duration will be charged separately based on the prevailing rates.

Transportation

Unless specifically included, transportation costs, parking fees, toll charges, public transport fares and taxi expenses are payable by the client.

If Priyappettavar arranges transportation, charges will be communicated in advance.

Entry Fees & Purchases

Package fees do not include the following unless specifically stated in the package:

Movie tickets
Temple special entry tickets
Museum entry
Tourist attraction fees
Shopping expenses
Food beyond the package inclusion
Gifts
Cakes
Bouquets
Donations
Personal purchases

Client responsibility

These expenses shall be borne by the client.

Meals & Refreshments

Packages that include refreshments cover only the items specified. Any additional meals or premium dining requested during the outing will be billed separately.

Health & Medical Responsibility

Clients are requested to disclose relevant information that may affect service delivery, safety or the person's ability to participate comfortably.

Fall history
Behavioural concerns
Emergency contacts

Failure to disclose relevant information may affect service delivery.

Medication Reminders

Companions May

Remind clients to take medicines.

Companions Will Not

Decide dosage
Administer injections
Change prescriptions
Force medication intake
Recommend medicines

Medication responsibility

Medication responsibility remains with the client and family.

Emergency Situations

If a medical emergency arises, the companion will:

Contact emergency services if required.
Inform the registered family member.
Stay with the client until appropriate help arrives whenever reasonably possible.

Emergency medical expenses remain the responsibility of the client or family.

Consent

The client or authorised family member must provide consent for:

Outings
Photography
Video calls
Travel
Sharing updates

Consent remains with the client

Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

Family Updates & Privacy

Where included, Priyappettavar may share photos, videos, visit summaries, non-medical health observations and companion notes only with authorised family members.

OUR SHARED STANDARD

Respect & Dignity

Every client deserves dignity. Our companions shall:

Respect personal beliefs
Respect privacy
Encourage independence
Never discriminate

Clients are equally expected to maintain respectful behaviour toward companions.

Safe Working Environment

Priyappettavar reserves the right to discontinue services if companions face:

Abuse
Harassment
Threats
Violence
Unsafe environments
Illegal activities

Alcohol, Smoking & Substance Use

Companions shall not, during service hours:

Consume alcohol
Purchase alcohol
Purchase tobacco
Purchase illegal substances
Assist in unlawful activities

Personal Money & Valuables

Companions will not:

Accept loans
Borrow money
Manage bank accounts
Receive expensive gifts
Sign legal documents
Handle valuables without prior approval

Shopping Assistance

Companions may assist in shopping. However, product selection remains the client's choice.

Priyappettavar is not responsible for product quality, warranties, or returns.

Technology Assistance

Companions may assist with smartphones, video calls, apps and digital payments.

Keep sensitive information private

Passwords, OTPs, banking credentials and confidential information should remain private. Families are encouraged to manage sensitive financial transactions themselves.

Photography & Memories

Photos taken during services belong to the client. Priyappettavar will never use photographs for promotional purposes without written permission.

BOOKING CHANGES

Cancellation Policy

24+ Hours

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled service.

Within 24 Hours

Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee.

Same Day

Same-day cancellations may be non-refundable.

Rescheduling

Subject to availability, bookings may be rescheduled with prior notice.

Companion Replacement

If a companion becomes unavailable due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, Priyappettavar will make reasonable efforts to provide a suitable replacement or reschedule the service.

Weather & External Conditions

Outdoor activities may be modified due to:

Heavy rain
Floods
Extreme heat
Government restrictions
Safety concerns

Alternative activities may be offered.

Package Scope

Unused services within a package:

Cannot be exchanged for cash.
Cannot be transferred unless specifically permitted.
May expire according to the package validity.

Confidentiality

All personal information shared by clients shall be treated confidentially, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect the client's safety.

Service Boundaries

Companions build warm and meaningful relationships while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. Requests that fall outside the agreed service scope may be declined.

Feedback & Concerns

Clients and families are encouraged to provide feedback after each service. Any concerns should be reported promptly so that they can be addressed with care.

Limitation of Liability

Priyappettavar will exercise reasonable care in delivering services but cannot be held responsible for events beyond its reasonable control, including actions of third parties, pre-existing health conditions, or circumstances outside the agreed scope of service.
