Companionship is not a replacement for specialised professionals.

Unless specifically agreed through a separate service arrangement, companions do not provide nursing care, medical treatment, medical advice, injections, personal hygiene assistance, specialised lifting or transferring, financial management, legal assistance, childcare, domestic servant duties or housekeeping beyond light assistance.

Our role is to assist, accompany and support — not to replace trained medical, nursing, legal or domestic professionals.

The more we know, the more personal the experience becomes.

Sharing a little about your loved one helps us understand their personality, preferences, routines and needs before the first visit.

What happens if something unexpected occurs?

If an emergency occurs during a visit, our companion will act calmly and responsibly with the client's immediate safety as the priority.

01 Ensure immediate safety
02 Contact emergency services if required
03 Inform the designated family contact
04 Remain with the client whenever reasonably possible
Medical decisions remain the responsibility of the client, family and healthcare professionals.

Support should never take away someone's independence.

“Our role is to assist, encourage, and accompany — not to take over unnecessarily.”

Priyappettavar believes companionship should enhance independence rather than replace it. Whenever safely possible, we allow the client to lead the pace of the visit and choose the activities they enjoy.

Trust includes knowing what stays private.

Personal information, conversations, photographs and family details are treated confidentially and shared only with authorised persons or where required by law.

Respect the privacy of the home

Every photograph begins with permission.

Photos or videos will only be taken with the client's consent or the consent of the authorised family member. Priyappettavar will never use photographs for promotional purposes without written permission.

If a client does not wish to be photographed, that preference will be fully respected.

Tell us what went well. Tell us what we can improve.

We encourage clients and families to share compliments, suggestions, concerns and improvement ideas. Open and respectful feedback helps us serve you better.
